A man with an India accent told me they would charge my account $299 unless I cancel it. He wanted me to go onto my laptop and "guide me" to the form to fill out. They wanted me to put my debit/credit card info on the form to cancel.

Attempting to charge $299.00 for computer services rendered. Wanted access to my computer using my ip address and credit card information to cancel this charge also trying to trick me by saying they wanted to refund me money to get my information. On call back the (heavy apparent India accent) person stated that I had been charged $299.00 for computer services rendered. I told him I had no computer (sorry for the lie) and he said that I would not be charged. When I asked for his name and the company name he quickly hung up.

Wanted to verify a charge to my ac (Scam call) reported by


Asked me to verify a charge of 299.00 to my account I pressed 9 for no and was immediately disconnected. I called the number back and someone answered with an India accent. I've been scammed before by India people so I just hung up.
