Church of Scientology. Some kind of robocall. Left truncated computer message on voice mail, ..."call" The phone # was one looking like it originated in a remote town in my state. however, on calling back, i got a voice message that i had reached "Flag" -- a part of their organization that is anchored in Florida -- no where near my state. Apparently, the more local # was a faked number. Creepily, more like a debt collector than a "church." Impossible to get a phone number off their call list. They don't even care if it's a wrong number They'll say they want to "update your info" -- but, even after the "update" (just a chance to talk to you to sell their religion) they'll keep calling for the person who hasn't owned that phone number in years. Apparently, forever.

Impossible to stop them calling. It's been 40 years of endless mail and calls and importunings. Callers, at best, are well-intentioned but clueless dupes -- a minority are the "spiritual" version of scam debt collectors --toxic. Can not be reasoned with -- seek only converts and can't ever take "no" for an answer. Religion as emotional molestation. So tired of this. Will block one more number.
