This number called me and I called it back. This person or whoever has people's social security numbers, tour name, address, what you own plus more. It might be a scam but if I were anybody getting a call from this number I would still take all the precaution for fraud and identity theft. I am. You never know what could happen especially if they have tour social security number. I kept the guy on the phone long enough to go to the sheriff's department and let the sheriff deputy talk to him. He got agitated and basically cussed her oit and then hung up. The number shows up that's it's a Utah number. Even if it's a scam I wouldn't take it lightly. This and me very freaked out and very upset.

Claimed to be an officer the first time the number called. Claimed my social security number has been suspended and I needed to call some number to resolve the issue. The second time they called I didn't answer, but it left a voicemail saying they were taking legal action unless I called this other number.

Got two calls today from this number. Both messages said they were an officer. One provided a name and the other did not. Both callers said my social has been suspended. The first called said to call the emergency team and the second said that charges would be pressed against me and that I needed to call the emergency health services hot line. Not sure what my social has to do with emergency health. From what I read, social security suspensions are tied to retirement and death.

The guy told me he was an officer representing the Social Security Office. He told me my SSN had been compromised and would be suspended if I did not comply and answer some questions he had. I told his I would be calling the Social Security Office and Federal Trade Commission before giving him any information, and he became agitated and hung up on me. I called him back and a Google answering service picked up. I called him on an alternate number (landline) and let him know that I knew he was a scam and had given the Federal Trade Commission his location and contact information. He became angry with me, told me I had no authority to do that, and that I was not allowed to speak to anyone but him on my situation because it was against "the rules" and told me he's shutting my account down immediately because I brole the rules. It became comical to be honest.
