Embassy Scam (Scam call) reported by


Claimed that there was a "new opening" for Embassy Suites and wanted to schedule a meeting so we could get free stuff. Wanted total commitment to this meeting, started asking financial Qs, said we had to bring both of our credit cards but there was "no strings attached." I'm sure they would've asked for card numbers soon after I hung up. Language and mannerisms (lots of techniques to convince you they are legitimate, certain words and phrases repeated) were dead giveaways to the scam.

I apparently won an embassy suit trip. Flights and hotel included. They asked if I was, single, married, or domestic. (said single) asked if I was above 27 years old (I said yes, why?) ---I am not actually. They said ok you qualify...then hung up. Have called me 3 times. Only answered once. Probably scam.
