Called 4 or 5 times in a row. Had Japanese script (katakana) after “Amex” a screening app I have said it was verified but I didn’t trust the result. I called Amex and they didnt call me nor is that the number they use or have.

American Express, Calling to make sure Fraudulent transactions were not being made. Locked Card, have to call them to Unlock Card. Ask them to give you the Exact reason why they're calling you, let them know that you will not give them any of your info until they tell you exactly what's going on. Bad Protocol asking for all your info instead telling you the exact reason why they're contacting you 1st.

After I punched the last 4 digits of my S.S. and verified the last numbers on my Amex card, the representative who I spoke to, asked me not only for the full number of my card, my name, and my security code number on my card. It sounds fishy that a credit card company keeps asking for so much information. When I asked for my balance they said the card was in cero when I knew that I have some balance.

I dont have and AMEX account. After getting this text 5 times in a month I looked up the number saw it was a real AMEX number and called it an operator told me they may have gotten my number in error and apologize and will flag the number.

When i called back the number i was connected to AMex when i told the Amex rep that i'm returning the call he said we never called you and asked me for the number that called and said we dont have such a number at all and said that the spammer might be listening in to the call...
