credit card interest rate reduction (Telemarketer) reported by


Call came up as Capital One on caller ID. Started as automated female voice to lower the interest rate. Husband pressed #1 to get a human, the human voice asked if husband was receiving lowest rates possible. Husband asked if this guy was really with Capital One and he bypassed the question. Human said that they were the company that sends the paper statements to our door. Husband said we don't get paper statements, we're paper less. Husband then said this guy wasn't with Capital One, the guy asked again if we were receiving the lowest rates possible, husband disconnected the call and blocked the number on our phone.
