They said someone had ordered a phone on my acct. in dallas texas. They wanted me to verify my acct info and sent me a confirmation code to verify. I promptly hung up.

ATT scam call (Robocall) reported by


Called me and I didn't answer because it came up as an 800# without any description (first red flag). Called hubs immediately after and he answered. Robovoice said it was ATT calling about our account, which had been suspended. Wanted him to enter the Passcode (which he thankfully didn't remember) or the last 4 of the social # connected to the account. I'm so thankful the account is in my name/social. He knows much better, but since he was concentrating on work and didn't catch it, he did enter the last 4 of his social. I've already contacted ATT to let them know...but, you have to be CAREFUL! They can get anyone, even if you think you can't be tricked!!!!!

Automated voice said my AT&T account was disabled and that I had to verify my 4 digit pin code. I called AT&T and was told that they never call you asking you to verify anything on your account. Don't be fooled.
