Called stating they were xcel. Told then I havnt had xcel since 2016, then said it was connexus energy since they are a small company they have xcel call and help with past due accounts. Wanted me to go to walgreens and buy a money pak to avoid "disconnection" verified with my ulmtikity company and police this is a scam.

The call came up as Xcel Energy on my caller ID. It was a robo call supposedly calling about my scheduled shut off and gave me an option to pay my bill. My bills are paid so I hung up.
