Started as a Robocall saying that I could reduce my credit card interest rates. I'm actually in the process of trying to raise my credit score so I thought this option was worth hearing about. I pushed 1 and Christopher (Something) was in the line. He immediately told me that he was on a recorded line. He told me that I qualified to lower my interest rates on each of my cards. He read the 1st 4 numbers of one of my cards, then askes for the expiration date. I was hesitant to give it to him, but he assured me that he was trying to help. He ends up giving me my full account information for the card we just talked about. Balance, last payment, next payment...so I thought "ok, maybe this is legit." He then asked about a 2nd card. He wanted me to give him the FULL NUMBER. I told him that I wouldn't be doing that because when I looked up the original phone number (512-945-8761) nothing came up as a business. He then called me from this number (1-800-847-2911). Wheb I couldn't get quick results, I tried thanking him for his time, apologized for wasting his, and he began yelling "YOU ****, **** YOU! **** YOU, ****!" I hung up & found this thread. Now I'm going to call my CC company & let them know I'm not currently using my card so there should not be any new charges.

caller insisted he was calling from the card services on my credit card. when i asked for their location and for him to verify the name of the company he was calling from caller put me on hold for 4 mins. i only have 1 credit card and it's cust svc is not 800-847-2911. i hung up. i am also reporting to better business bureau. i have been on the do not call list for years (with renewals every 2 years) and still get these calls. my caller id says "async (252) 296-4252". there is no such company and the phone number looks like a valid NC phone number
