I'm not sure how the moderator can say this is a legitimate call, as I listened to the message and it sounded like a call center in a foreign country there was no message but I could hear people speaking in the background.

No matter what you read from anyone else, this is 100% scam. I Was called and offered $100 on my next Verizon bill. I accepted and thanked them. Then he said that I have to give him my Verizon login information and pin to receive the money. Block this number

Annoying - Verizon Spoof (Nuisance call) reported by


This number 800-837-49xx called my cell phone 4 times yesterday 05/23/19 and once today 05/24/19. I did not answer any of the calls and they couldn't leave a voice mail message because my voice mail is full. My voice mail has been full on purpose so that these **** can't leave a message, but now if someone i know calls, they can't leave a message. Yesterday, after they couldn't get through to me, shortly after their last phone call, I received SIX, yes SIX more calls from "UNKNOWN NAME" numbers that I didn't answer and I'm sure they were spoofed numbers as well. I'm pretty sure the Verizon calls were 4 people trying to see if my number was a real number so that they can then call later with the spoofed number hoping I would answer. It was all different numbers from all different area codes including one 800 and one number tried to spoof call from my area code plus the first 3 digits of my cell phone. Do they really think I am stupid enough to answer that one? This whole robo calling, spoofing numbers and spammers has got to stop. Why do I even have a cell phone if I can't even answer it and we shouldn't have to pay for some app or service to make this happen. Oh and I did call the number, which is Verizon and they say if they call their customers, there is a reason, like a past due payment AND they have notes in their system if they call. You guessed it, they told me they didn't call me.
