Offering money, it's obviously a phishing scam call, it was just as listed in the above complaints. I've since blocked them, but they've called me three times today.

I answered knowing it was a fraud to get more information to report to the authorities. A woman asked to talk to 'my REAL first name' (yikes! How did she know that?!). I didn't confirm it was me but I asked 'who is this?' and then she hung up. Still kind of freaked that she knew my first name though. I have reported this number and their claim that they are from the Treasury several months ago but apparently they haven't been caught yet.

This number called and told me that I was being given a 9k grant from "The Government" - when I asked "Which Government?" she continued to repeat "just the government." I asked where they were located and she hung up. THIS IS A SCAM!

Who stated that I had gotten a 9,000 dollar grant. I didn't happen to catch his name but when I asked for a letter of confirmation he then asked why. I followed with the comment of so I know it's from the government and he hung up, after saying he'll send me a letter.

Couldn't find the 800# they called me from on their page. I called the number back and was able to get a recorded message stating they are the BUREAU OF FISCAL SERVICES at THE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY... I looked it up and found their "website" still looks fishy to me. They (irs local and fed) normally correspond by mail and want you to call them. Oh wait, they just called me, I answered (muted) they didn't say anything, they hung up. Have called me 4x today and have yet to leave a message. Not trustworthy!

They called three times within 4 hours...so I rather enjoy messing with these people, and I answered. It was a Mr. "Jordan Smith" with a very heavy accent, asked for someone that was not me, told Mr. Smith, he had the wrong number, then Mr. Smith proceeded with a very poor attempt at rapping. I laughed and wished him good luck with his rap career but not to quit his day job. What losers. I certainly hope people have learned not to give these pieces of dog feces any information. Blocked the number and reported to the FTC because I am supposedly on the "do not call list" which apparently does no good.

A foreign women with a thick accent. Called me and told me i had 3 options to receive 9000$ un taxed. When i chose an option ( just to mess with her) she then listed all my info including my adress. My advice dont pick up the phone and if u do deny its you.
