Silence at first, very strong accent, then all I could understand were the words that this call may be recorded for quality purposes at the end and then they hung up.

They said they are calling from sprint. They knew I was eligible for a phone upgrade. When I said I didn't want that, they said they have a cheaper monthly plan for me (they knew which plan i have now). When I said I'll call sprint directly to verify the guy got all flustered and said it was only an offer for 'select costumers and wld prob not be available if I do that'. I called sprint to let them know s/o is scamming under their name and they verified that that number was not them.
