I too have ADT. They have been bombarding my postal box about an upgrade to my system. It's probably not a scam. However most people you talk to at ADT wouldn't have access to information on thier outsourced parties. That's why your getting nowhere by calling ADT at their number. The person your talking to at ADT wouldn't know.

I have ADT alarm system and I have received notices in the mail as well as texts from them regarding a required cell upgrade to 3G, as the current system may soon no longer be able to send a signal to the them because of their new technology. I've had 2 visits scheduled but have had them cancelled because they were out of the replacement radios.

Answered; however, when I answered, I heard a click and then there was ringing as if I had initiated the call. I did not wait/hear anyone answer and suspect this is some form of robot dialing soliciting call

Voicemail left that ADT needed to schedule appointment to upgrade system. I called real ADT 1-800 number and they had no record that I needed to upgrade.
