It's 100% legit. Wells Fargo Fraud Dept. I feel the people that are saying this number is scam are probably on edge due to receiving a lot amount of scam calls.

I panicked and called the number on the back of my card. I was informed the 800 number was the Wells Fargo fraud dept and they in fact told me Amazon compromised my account. So the number is legit.

I had just used my card for a larger amount of money than usual and this number—seems to me like a legitimate Wells Fargo call—was calling to confirm it. Didn’t ask for any personal information and he knew the amount I took out and the location of the ATM.

dangerous spam. she said she was from Wells Fargo Bank. and " helped' me against people that have got into my account and have taken nearly 10 thousand dollar. she faused me to buy card for her and promised me that she could stop that bad people and give my money back. every word was a lye. and she kept all my money. she called herself Kim.

I called the ACTUAL number on the back of my card and a REAL Wells Fargo representative verified that it was in fact a SCAM CALL. Wells Fargo will NOT call you right back if you hang up; that would be harassment if they did. And they will NEVER ask you for your account number, pin number, etc. only the last 4 digits.

He states he was from FRAUD DEPARTMENT and someone just withdrew money from an atm on the entirely other side of the country. I checked my app on my phone immediately, my email nor text had no recent notification which I have set up. I told them they were **** lieing and today I'm going to report this number to some type of law enforcement. US Federal Agents.
