Federal Loan Servicing - NOT A SCAM, UNLESS THEY GIVE YOU A DIFFERENT NUMBER TO CALL BACK. This is a federal organization working hand-in-hand with the US Dept of Education to help with student loan consolidation, payoff, or even forgiveness.

The caller knew my name and asked me to verify my date of birth. (Unsolicited call) reported by Anonymously concerned
The caller stated they were calling on behalf of Federal Loan Services and asked if I was "my name." I said yes and they asked to verify my date of birth. I refused and told them I would not give my date of birth to someone that called me if I don't know them. The lady seemed very agitated at that and gave me their number to call back (it matched the caller ID). I asked what she was calling for and she refused to confirm based on me refusing to give my DOB. Considering I do not have student loans, never have, and I haven't had any loans of any type in years, this is definitely a scam. Do NOT give out personal information unless you 100% know the person or company at the other end. This company is using shady business practices to "confirm" your personal information. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.
