“Bank Caller” (Nuisance call) reported by


A gentleman named “Martin” left a voicemail asking for a family member of mine. He had a thick middle-eastern accent and stated he is from a bank I never heard of, nor use. Other than that, no other details regarding his call. Do not answer these calls, they are likely a scam.

Called me at 7:16am. Such a thick accent, all I could tell was that it was a male, and I could only make out the words "1,876" and then "Visa or Mastercard". In response (and still half asleep), I said, "Ok, can you repeat that?" Again, garbled and heavily accented, all I could make out was, "When would you like to pay this debt?" My response was, "Well, in the US it is illegal for collectors to call before 8am; so I will probably just pay it when hell freezes over because I don't deal with scammers!" and hung up on him. By the way, I am completely DEBT FREE. I have NO outstanding bills, no outstanding balances on my cards. For all of these reasons, plus the call before 8am, has red flags all over it--SCAMMER.

They just called me as well and left a voicemail. Thick accent named Max also claims I have a pass due balance from Victoria's Secret. Lol I do have that card but only $40 charged and certainly not past due! I hate scammers.

Scam debt collector Comenity Bank

I have received numerous calls from 505-214-8410 saying they are Comenity Bank, looking for Tiffany Robinson, which is not me, and to call back to 800-695-9796. I hardly can understand the person leaving the message, but this time I called back. They answered Comenity Bank. They asked who I was, I didn't give my name, but said you keep leaving a message on my phone for Tiffany Robinson, and that is not me and to quit calling!! I then hung up, so I actually never found out what exactly they wanted. I have no dealings with Comenity Bank, past or present. I am assuming some type of scam.
