Same thing just happened to me, claiming my account had been breached and they needed to check my IP address.

same thing happened to me on my deceased mother's account. when she went to "check on it" the line hung up

Called me at least 2 -3 times per day leaving no message. When calling them back on a different secured phone line. It states this is "Apple" technology..etc. I do not have any Apple products under my cell phone. If anything, it would be under my wife's number as she has an Apple phone, Apple watch, etc . . . It is a scam using Apple name .
