I received a card with the same offer, from SmartEnergy. I looked up their website. Wrong phone, wrong address (in fact the address on the card was the wrong state. I looked up the address on the card and it's an office bldg & they listed all their tenants, and none was electric). I'd say scam. If you still don't think so, I'd call the number on the website (not the # on the card) and ask if the offer is theirs.

This number came to me on a post card saying that I won a free month of electricy because of being a Duke Energy customer. The address is from Prize Committee Smart Sweepstakes.com 575 Lexington Ave. 4th floor New York, NY 10022 They even give a code number for one month free electricity and 10% off after that. Since Duke Energy is based in the Carolinas I doubt this is anything connected to them. I did not go the website on the post card. I find writing to you a better response to it. Thus I cannot rate what I am not interested in investigating any farther than reading it.

I got a postcard, too, from Smart Energy (Dayton Power & Light). Looked at their website. Wrong address and wrong phone. It's an office bldg and they listed all their tenants. Not any electric co. I would suggest, if anyone wants to really check it out, call the number on the website, not the card or cell number, and ask them if they are the ones with this deal. I'm assuming it's a scan & they want to get info from us.
