This phone number was hijacked by scammers around January of 2019. It used to be a VALID eversouCompany : AT&T Referral #: 800-544-6317 History Status Last Update WORKING 2001-01-11 WORKING 2001-01-11 eversource number, but no longer is. It's owned by AT&T and to report abuse of this number you may call the AT&T number listed above. They are responsible for maintaining the number being used to scam people at this time. It's a threatening electric scam where they threaten to turn your power off within 30 minutes if you don't pay them. It's bogus and a Federal and international crime. Report these calls to your local Police or authorities and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) as well, please. Thank you.

Called to offer bill reduction, wanted to know my electric provider since I indicated I was not an eversource customer. I told him I would not tell him my electric provider and to remove my number from the call list. Agent was very inconsiderate and spoke with a foreign accent.
