I applied for an Amex Gold Card, I wasnt immediately approve, I was asked to call that number for verification purposes, I did called the number and I spoke to a nice english speaking csr, he asked some of my details, ssn, bday and zip code he explain he will expedite the delivery if I get approve and wait for a call within 24hrs. 24hrs passed, I did not received a cAll only after 36hrs. That number cAlled me and someone on the Line asked again my ssn and date of birth. After that he said my application was approved and expect the card delivery the next day!
