Same as others have stated... citing they would meet at my place of employment (I'm retired) and they were acting as a rep for their client to settle a debt between them and me. I have no debt or loans so criminals trying to scam folks out of their money. Too bad these kind of people don't get arrested... if they robbed on the street they would.. what's the difference?

received an automated call from 800-564-3116 yesterday, stating (Robocall) reported by


received an automated call from 800-564-3116 at my home and on my cell at the same time, stating that they were a private courier. That they would be at my home and place of business between 12 pm and 5 pm within the next 24-48 hours. That at my place of residence, they would need my signature and that of a witness. That at my place of business, they would need my signature and that of someone in HR. Finally, that if I wanted to put a Stop Order on this process I needed to call them at the above number. Seriously?! Got a similar call like this a while back, it upset my entire family, turned out to be direct tv.

The number was "Restricted" and since I do not answer calls from unknown or restricted numbers, I hit the "reject call" button on my cell phone. They left a 1 minute voice mail, in a robotic voice, stating that a courier would be delivering sealed documents requiring my signature to my home and my workplace. According to the message, I need to have two forms of ID and a witness ("supervisor or HR person")in order to accept the sealed documents. They gave this 800 number to call if I wanted to cancel the delivery. I'm not calling; I didn't just fall off the turnip truck!

Had voicemail from unknown number and the message said same as Reba's description . I didn't call the number back thanks to her scam warning. Which is why I'm leaving this to give back

courier to serve me documents at my place of employment recording stated I needed a witness. To cancel receiving document they wanted me to call the 1 800 364 3116. Scam!
