I received a few phone calls from random numbers and sometimes there would be no caller id or just a *. I answered a couple times and was often met with silence and a hang up which I thought was strange, but I finally connected with someone that identified themselves as Canadian Tire Bank. They were very helpful in making payment arrangements and the calls immediately stopped lol. I asked for their number and they gave me this one for future assistance

When your phone rings and it shows anything other than a phone number or contact name. Most rational people will not as it is clear indicator of a scam or fraudulent caller. If this was or is a legit business they would have no problems revealing their identity or hostility when a person does answer, people have lives and don’t answer every call they receive. Also calling any person regarding possible business matters between the times of 8pm to 8am clearly indicates a scam and harmful intentions.

18005614465 is the direct phone number for canadian tire bank credit services. it is collections call. if you're concerned as to why they're calling you, try the customer service number on the back of your mastercard, or, pay your bill and watch the calls stop. if you dont believe you owe anything, another reason to call and verify. the reason it doesnt populate as canadian tire bank on your phone has nothing to do with the bank and everything to do with your cellphone provider. google is free, use it. better yet, pay your bills <3

I was going to answer, only reason i didn’t was because the called ID was a * symbol and I don’t answer unless it’s a number I know or the caller ID shows who is calling.

They sent me a letter in the mail first and said they are the IRS and that I have a debt in the amount of $21,868 then I received phone calls saying they were the IRS. they were going to seize my propery. HA I don't have any property. GO AHEAD. ****. This matter was already taken care of years ago.

Claimed suspicious activity on MY Social Security "account" and would be thusly suspended and I would be arrested within 24 hours. Have had 3 of these calls since June. Guess what? Haven't been arrested.
