Called asking for a person who does not reside at the phone number. Said they were with the California emergency physician's, when you Google the number it shows a facility out of Modesto. But evidently after looking up the phone number and many different forms of information showed up is proving to be a scam caller

I've got a final notice that I owe some amount of money to the medical group. I called my insurance company and hospital where I was and they did not confirm that I owe anything to anyone. I think that it's a scam. Because the address and phone number in this mail do not match to information in google.

This is a total scammer. Do not pay them. They sent me a bill and the name doesnt even match the company phone number when you look it up. I called the hospital I had services at and they told me that it was a scam and to not pay.

Answered this call thinking it might be a real estate agency, as I’mselling my house. I got what I think was a recording in an Asian language (Chinese?), hung up immediately and blocked the number.

I have never heard of MedAmerica, at least I’m 100% certain that I have no connections with them. Wanted billing information which is ridiculous because my doctor / health care provider already has that. Scam for sure.

I received a call from this 800 number. I didn’t pick up and waited for them to leave me a voicemail. The voicemail said : “ Hello um this message is for Blank... , my name is (she pauses for a bit to think about what to say ) then she states her name is anelle. She goes on to say I’m calling from your healthcare provider and we’re needed to verify some account information and would appreciate a call back at your earliest convenience. They then mentioned the number they can be reached at. I never called them back. I only blocked their number. It is unnecessary that I provide any information. If it was my health care provider they wouldn’t be calling me since they have all the information they need from me and they would of mentioned from where they were calling. It all just sounds too sketchy don’t fall for their trap. Just block them they are definitely scammers.

Didn’t say what their business was. Said they needed account information form me and said “we are caking from a providers office from uhmmm a provider who had treated you” never specified which provider. Definitely a scam. My doctors office has all my information no one would call me asking for account information and not say what doctor it was for.

It is a debt collection agency just verified with where medical service was rendered and they said all accounts were current and nothing was owed. So this has the Scam smell to it.
