I was told a federal Sherriff was trying to reach me because my laptops IP address was showing troubling issues and he himself works for Microsoft security. I said it's impossible because I don't have a computer and after he argued about it claiming I must have one he then said he needed to investigate it further and he'd call me back in 1&1/2 hours.

Claimed to be from Microsoft Support, and I had a virus and needed to call this number and have my problem taken care of. Male with a very heavy (Indian accent). Just another scam at work!

Scam stating you've won a grant from the Federal Government because you've been paying your bills on time. Gives you a grant ID claim number and a phone number to call and register for the grant. If you've already won it why would you have to register to get it? Lol

This number kept calling me. I knew it was a scam call; but I wad sick of hearing my phone ring. So, I answered the phone and told the guy to take me off his call list. Guy got irate and "warned" me (his choice of words) not to say take off list before new who was calling. Then, he hung up. Tried to call back to give him a piece of my mind; but number is outbound only. BLOCK THIS NUMBER!
