Real call. Number can be verified on the Huntington Bank website. This number will call you if there is an issue with a personal or business account. I had an overdraft on an account I was not using and they were calling to let me know. Was quick and easy to get cleared up and the two people I spoke with were both pleasant and respectful.

Even with over 5 yr history showing I receive govt. disability 1st of every month, which is direct deposit; returned everything I had purchased & put immediately in bank; that the lverdraft was caused by a company taking $ from my account, illegally, that they only returned portion, & paid none of fees they caused incurrance, still am not only receiving overdraft, but a second overdraft fee for length of time, even though they know EXACTLY when next deposit will be. Additionally, there havebeen 2 occasions where account was hacked, yet their "investigative" dept said was my fault. Beinv a trained investigator, I contacted ghe 2 companies. Not only had they no record ANYWHERE of me being customer, nor my email address, nor sales receipt, which I was able to find ojt within 30 minutes of start of search, both companies requested a 3-way call, themselves, the bank (Huntington) & me, in order to preclude whomever was perpetrating scam from beinv able to repeat. In conversation witb Huntington, I advized investigator that it is "INVESTIGATION 101" to go to INITIAL event; NOT to start invezgigation half-way thru series of events. Az mentioned earlier, I've had to do this 2 x. Even asked if tbey would like me to do a training seminar for their investigation dept. They have het to reply to that, though they've had over 6 months. Do NOT tfust them to investigate. Take responsibility for contacting companies yourself. You just might find that the company you thought was doing you harm, you might find an ally against frue perpetrator.
