This is a call from an alarm central monitoring center that contracts with many alarm companies and alarm installers. They maintain a list of phone numbers to call in the event of an alarm that was received by an active alarm system. Since mobile phone numbers are reissued when a person does not port their phone number to another carrier, the alarm monitoring company goes through their list of numbers when the alarm is received. If you do not have an alarm system that is monitored, you need to call this number back to have your number removed from the list or you may keep getting a call from the monitoring station in the event they are unable to reach the intended person. The person who has an active account with with an alarm installation company could have made a mistake when giving the number for notification of relatives or friends. In consideration for the person who has a monitored alarm tripped, you need to call and have your number removed so they can reach a person on their list to verify if the alarm transmitted to them was true or in error (a false alarm). The monitoring center is polite and will not try to sell you any services as they contract with many actual contractors only. The only exception is if your number is "spoofed" by a fraudster and you answer the call, you may be the subject of a fraud call. Do not answer the call but call the number back and verify if you are active on the list for a friend or relative who has a monitored alarm system. In any event, they will dispatch the police or a security service to the address given by the alarm contractor. In the unlikely event someone shows up at your door, always ask for identification and explain that you do not have an active alarm system and are not on a list as an emergency contact.

his number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with . Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked it, but people pls did someone answer this number, same case or something different?

Also similar number called me recently, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active...
