The caller ID actually said " FL Powerlight" then when you speak to them you know its a scam they start of saying they want to speak with the person in charge of the power bill... and that our power is going to get disconnected in 60 mins... hahaha stop wasting our time.

He said that i owed 500 and my power would be turned off. I knew it was fake but played along and called FPL from my cell on speaker then said I dropped the call. He continued on the line I then called the Florida State Attorney as I was talking to him and gave him website to report scams. He then got upset and said he worked for ISIS and used some nasty language towards me. I was able to keep this **** on the line for like 30 minutes. At least that was 30 mins he could not use to take advantage of some poor elderly person. He is a scum bag but they put some work into the scam so be careful. They tell you to call an 844-235-4807 that looks very similar to FPL real number.

Says you haven't paid your FPL bill and your power will be cut off unless you pay immediately. We called FPL on my bill and they said it was a scam. I knew I had been paying and looked it up after I hung up on these scammers and I was correct. Beware! They are trying to scare you into paying over the phone with your cc so they have your cc number to go on a spending spree.
