Woman with a heavy accent, I receive a call from them everyday, everyday I say take me off the list. Last call I said you call me daily take me off your lost, she slowly tried to get out, Ooo ooo you motherf#cker, hilarious lol

It seems as though these people with heavy accents who "work for the government" want to give a lot of people a grant for exactly $9,000. I told him I wasn't in need of any money and to please remove me from his list. He told me to go f*** myself. They have called back a couple times asking for people who do not live at this residence.

Same experience.................told me I was randomly selected by the "government" to receive a grant. Gave a confirmation number and everything, I was suspicious but it was confirmed when she couldn't even get my address right. Politely asked her how is it she is working for the government but couldn't get my address right, especially since the government knows everyone's address. She went off and told me she wasn't forcing me to take the money, so I did not have to. She has better things to do instead of talking to me (but you called me lady), she hung up after I called her a scammer. So much for working for the government.

This number came in skewered with "11" in front of it. I called the 800 number back and the call could not be completed. This is a clear indication that this is a scam and possibly foreign. I had a scam attempt two weeks ago, sought legal advice and have learned a lot from my attorney, law enforcement and the State Attorney on how to spot a scam and when you know your identity was stolen (before you have any losses.)

so get this call with a country code of 11 (so not from the US) with a one time gov. grant of $9000 gave me a code and a phone number to call to confirm my info for the grant. LOL I got a ton of this same type of calls last summer as well. if only half were real I'd retire.

Told me I was an outstanding citizen and the govt was going to go give me 9k for not having any criminal records or bankruptcy. Told me to call this number with a secret code that was given to me: 2027983307 clearly very inaccurate since had thick accent and incorrect info about my background. But they mentioned my first and partially my last name. I never give my full name out so I know this was taken from some survey or email list I subscribed too.
