Mark left the same voice message as others. Called back the bureau they are impersonating, called directly from official site, tried to get confirmation the number is used by them, uselessly lady said she couldn't confirm. Received multiple voicemail from this number, always Mark. Definitely scam call, debt collectors say the basic identifying info so you know they are real, also use a real human being to call. Sick we can't do anything to put these scum down, just block and move on. I did call back during off hours, they have a recording similar to the official bureau, but not well enough.

I dont know of any debt that I have. After hearing a VM. I looked up number online while calling them. I hung up after reading reviews. SOOOO irritating trying to figure out what is illegit and what is bs these days. What happened to your word is your bond, integrity, work ethics. Everyone is so entitled, it's really messed up. anywho...that's all I got.

The call did not ring but came up in my Called ID as United Collect. They left a message. "This is Mark and I have an important message from United Collection Bureau Inc. This call is from a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information will be used for that purpose. Please call 1-800-344-8192. Thank you." I have a credit score over 830. I have no debt. Scammer 100%.

I called the number back because "Mark" left a message for me. I talked to "Ruby". she wanted my address and SSN or could not give me any information regarding my "debt". She knew my name I assume it was attached to my number. So sad that these people feel the need to harass people who are minding their own business and taking care of it. I have no outstanding debt. I was only concerned about stolen identity. Possibly "Mark" wanted mine. So rude.

Message from Unknown number. Mark. The agency appears to be legitimate, but that doesn’t mean the caller is. Called back, got recorded messages; ultimately to hold, where I was supposed to wait for up to 6.5 minutes and then leave a message. Really? More important things to do. Feels very scammy, slicker than most.

She wouldn't give me any information regarding what "debt" I owed. I don't have any outstanding debts. She already had my address and my phone number. She then asked me for my date of birth. Before I could say no, she said Novemb.... She stopped herself and then asked me for my last 4 digits of my SSN. I said, No ma'am. She quickly stated, "OK." She then said, real fast, that they sent me something in the mail a couple of days ago and then said goodbye.

Recording on voice mail from Mark from UCB-same recording as mentioned above. I called back and a woman answered and asked me my name. I said well you called me and should know my name. I told her my number and she said she didn't find it on her computer and was there any other number. I said no, so she said well then we didn't call you and i said yes you did and left a message. She told me that next time we called I should speak to the person who called and they would have myinformation. Totally didn't make sense so I think this is a scam. I have no outstanding late debts so I know this wasnt for us. If they call again i will report to the FTC Fraud division.
