This IS the Dish Network number. If you received a call from this number with someone asking for SSN, etc, it was very likely a spoofed call. Please don't rate it badly, even if you hate Dish, etc

No message left. Based on the other reviews, it seems to either be Dish Network or someone pretending to be them. I have never been a Dish customer. I don't know if this is a phishing/scam call, an innocent sales call, or at best, they dialed wrong and got me instead of a customer they were attempting to assist. If it's sales, my numbers are on the do not call list, so I'm not supposed to receive sales cold calls.

very pushy satellite TV salesman. wouldn't take no for an answer. wanted to know why I'm not interested and argued with me about my reason. wouldn't acknowledge when I said 'take me off your list.' i had to hang up on him.

Phishing - asked for SS# (Scam call) reported by


Foreign accent. Stated reception problems in our area. Needed date of birth and Social Security number. Threatened with not getting the reception problem fixed. My neighbor recently received a call and after calling Dish Network was told that their call center in India was making these threatening calls.
