this number keeps connecting to my internet (Scam call) reported by


i was hacked on 8/1/17 and now this number pops up (unsolicited) saying Call Microsoft® Software Support at +1800-330-8689 and get full support for Microsoft® Software Products... i have tried numerous anti malware and anti virus progams and removed over 2500 malicious files but this still keeps popping up.. thought it was a scam and it is.. i just dont know how to get rid of it!!

This number is from a website that claims to be an Apple Support group. Don't fall for it, it's a scam!!!

Happened to me today too. Thought I was calling Apple Support. It is NOT Apple Support! The correct number for Apple Support is 1-800-MY-APPLE. They will fix your computer for free. Don't get duped into paying $199 for something Apple will do for free.

EVERY TIME I open a new page on my mac a page pops up saying, "apple Support" with this number 1-800-330-8689, after doing some research I found this website and was very pleased with it. I found out it was not really "APPLE SUPPORT" and when the chat thing popped up I began to chat with them (This being my second time chatting with them because I was very mad). First a robot response they told me I might have a virus. They said, "How can I help you". When I typed "I don't know, how can you help me?" Then the robot response said, "To fix this problem Call 1-800-330-8689 or click on this link..." AffterI responded to this a real (VERY RUDE) person came on the chat. As I talked with "STEVE" I told him "You need to help me because this is very important." He replied by saying "Okay then." I told him "every time I open a new page on my mac a page pops up saying, "apple Support" which I know is a scam." He said, "That is why you need to click on the link above." I said, "ARE YOU APPLE SUPPORT?" He said "Yes." I said, "funny because Apple support has a different number and this number is a scam number." Steve quickly left the chat and the chat on my screen disappeared and I could not get back into it. The time before I called the Person out and the same thing happened with the chat disappearing. I HOPE THIS HELPS!

I have received numerous calls from the number: 1-800-330-8689. They claim to be a computer tech support company. I've told them to stop calling me several times and they don't stop calling. I have also blocked their number on my phone. But, for some reason, I still manage to get s from them. I have gotten rude with them and used vulgar language. I've even threatened to sue them. But, nothing stops them from calling back! What they will do is have you give them remote access to your computer, then, they will say you have a virus or some other harmful program on your computer and they need to remove it. Then they'll charge you several hundred dollars so they can "fix" your computer remotely, over the Internet. However, you don't know what they're really going to do to your computer! This is probably a trap! They have access to all your files on your computer now! All your credit card numbers, passwords, saved documents, etc. They can also install a real virus on your computer if they want! Then, they will charge you more money to remove it later! Almost every time I've gotten a call from this number, it is usually a different person calling. Every one of them has an Indian accent. I'm sure they are calling from India. They say they are calling from Massachusetts. However, one of the guys who called me couldn't even pronounce the word Massachusetts! They have not told me their company name when they've called lately, but, last year, I was getting calls for the same thing, from a company called: "Sophie Saphire Support". This might be the same company. Even if it's a different company, it doesn't matter, IT'S A BIG SCAM!!!!!! THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND THEY JUST WANT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY! Don't give these people any money! Hang up on them immediately and block their number!!!

they've called me repeatedly too... i use to ask 'em how did they get my ph# ??? now when they call i keep telling them i dont have a computer !!!! that has slowed the amount of calls i get now...
