This is what was left on my voicemail...“Hi this is Kathy McDonald and I'm just giving you a call back to follow up on the letter that you should've received regarding your eligibility for your new $40 minimum monthly payment on your student loans and the possibility of forget it is important that I hear from you today or tomorrow regarding your file I can be reached at 800-233-0432 and I'm here 7a.m. to 4 PM Pacific standard time…” . sounds likes a scam although I do have a studentloan.

Nice try Kathy! Also, nope, never got a letter.

Got this call today. Uh yeah I got student loans, but I already talked to them lol and big red flag is not saying from WHERE my loans are from. There is NO loan forgiveness unless you die lol or are disabled for life. Don’t fall for this scam people!

She’s using a different number now. I just got a call and it says verbatim, what was said. It’s 1800 298 50xx. I called back and it was talking about insurance on cars. I think she’s on the run!! Lol

Message left by a Kathy McDonald and left a reference number to use when I call back to discuss my repayment options due to changes. I get a call a day from this person. One day it's a female and the next day it's a male, each giving me a different reference number but never specifying what company they are from, that alone is a red flag. The first thing they should state is what company they work for and should know my name if I've truly reached out to them to help with student loan payment.
