Pentagon Fed fraud services called to verify my debt account had been compromised immediately after someone tried to make charges on the account. Great service to have! They need to identify the number so you don't dismiss it as a Robo call.

I received a call from this number, and they left a robocall voicemail identifying themselves as PenFed Fraud Protection and stating that there was suspicious activity on my account. As a precaution, I called the number on the back of my card, and they verified that there was fraudulent activity on my card. I'll say that this unknown number is legitimate, and I have it saved in my contacts now. I do wish PenFed had this number listed on their website or did a better job of identifying it on caller ID so it wouldn't look so suspicious itself.

System voice from penfed verifying charges made on my account were authorized by me. I wish the caller ID said something PenFed related as I contemplated not answering the call.
