Man with a foreign accent called stating that they are going to turn off our electric today due to an unpaid past balance. My boss got on the phone and advised that we just paid our bill in full on July 8th. Scammer didnt have much to say except you have been notified. My boss told him "You aren't even with FPL are you?" The man hung up the phone.

Fake FPL. Called and asked for manager (my number used to be my personal company years ago). I replied who are you? They say they are FPL and will shut off my power. I tell her I don't own any property that has an account with FPL and she repeats her line. I say then tell me the property you will be shutting off. She hangs up... Also, don't try calling back because the number redirects you to the real FPL so they can hear and record all your account information.

I asked several times "what company are you trying to reach?" They just kept saying Florida Power and Light. Then they hung up abruptly. Foreign accent.
