Claimed they were with Best Buy (Scam call) reported by


A man with a thick foreign accent claimed he was with Best Buy calling in regards to my computer I purchased from them and the terrorist program I had on it was expired. I told him I haven't purchased a computer in over 10 years and I was not interested in please don't call me again, and hung up. he immediately called me back I answered he started yelling at me telling me I was rude and disrespectful he is with them I told him I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and wanted his employee ID number he refused to give it to me I told him I know you're not with us by because they call from an 800 number not a 775 area code he continued to yell at me so I hung up. he called the third time and I let it go to voicemail he left me a very threatening message telling me next time I will learn my lesson and that I should have been nicer to him. I immediately called Best Buy to let them know they have started an investigation and will proceed with further action on their end and I fully intend to make a police report as well due to the harassing nature of his voicemail. Do not answer his phone call I felt as if he was tracking my phone number which is why I decided to hang up, however I feel you have enough time to track it.
