Toll free 866-668-4156 is forwarded to this number. I only spoke with the person for a minute and figured it was a scammer. The announcement for the toll free says it is Aflac insurance. THIS IS NOT AFLAC.

Got scam call saying press for assistance as power would be shut off. I still have old cell # from 804 area code for Virginia but moved to Atlanta 2 years ago. They assumed due to area code I have Dominion Power (I used to) but I live now in a different state under a different name account. Checked my GA Power and it's paid through end of this month, nothing is due. SCAM! They bought a list of phone#'s by area code it appears that used to have Dominion power at some point.

Call was a Recording then transferred me to a man. It was so loud in the room he was in. He said I owed 380 dollars and was going to be disconnected. When I got frustrated he asked if I’d like to be transferred. I said yes, the next man said I was 2 months behind on payments. That’s impossible because I just moved in. He read to me two old addresses from when I was living with my dad, neither of which I had any bills in my name. When I started asking questions he hung up.

Although the entire call was in Spanish & I don't speak nor understand Spanish, I realized that due to the urgent tone, it was a scam. My answering service took the call and I was able to listen to it later. We have budget billing with the power company, so, I know that they're not going to shut off my power.

Received a call from this number with an electronic message stating services will be disconnected in 30 min if payment is not made. Asked to call 1-800-689-00xx. Once called a live person (Adam) comes online saying $499 is owed but will waive $100 for immediate payment. Asked to go to Office Depot to get voucher as proof of payment!!! Call back after account is checked because there has never been a bill this high before. Shows next payment is due 11/1/19 for $71. Today is 10/19/19. First person hangs up phone when asked to provide his last name. Called again and male identified himself as Patrick Decker. Provided physical address as 5272 Godwin Blvd in Suffolk VA. Asked to transfer to Adam at ext. 706 which he identified as Billing and Processing. Questioned last name he stated Jones. Asked where he was from he stated Miami, Fl. Said he graduated from Norfolk High School in Miami. He eventually asked why all the questions. When told it was believed he was part of a scam, he said he understood with how things are today (HA!!) and would allow an additional 15 mins to investigate further before he took a payment. Important to note. Number on caller ID identified as Dominion at 757-857-21xx. Dominion Electrics real number is 866-366-4357. There is an electronic message on the REAL number that states there is a scam out and Dominion Electric would never threaten shut off if no immediate payment..... Even more important....It's also now been 5 hours and the electricity is still on with no payment!!!! This sort of BS should be considered illegal and investigated. Imagine how many older folks get taken advantage of this way.

They would call and ask for my mother or father with the full name and all. I know it's a scam they always say the same line and all. I would just say stuff to them to insult them because it's very pathetic of them to do and by still point they should know who answer the phone because my mother would insult worst and it funny to heard how they just cry and say "okay ma'am I'm sorry for trying to scam you.."

recorded message in Spanish I called the number back after initially initiating this block. The number is actually Dominion power and the first thing the automated message addressed was warning callers about this scam. Dominion is being scammed as well it seems since the number we are all blocking is actually theirs.

I received several calls that were silent and hung up then the last call was a person calling from a call center. You could hear other operators in the back ground. Says he's with Dominion Power and that a shut off of my power was on the schedule. I had already called and spoken to Dominion regarding my bill which was not past due and I did not schedule a shut down of service. He asked if I ordered the power to be shut off which I did not. A week ago I received a similar call from a person saying the same thing stating if I don't pay I will be shut down and can dispute it later. After challenging them, I was told that "we are close and we are closer than you think" as an intimidation threat. While writing this, I received another call stating the same thing. This is 100 percent a scam that will take your money and you will never know who it was. They don't just shut your power down for no reason. I've received calls from people with NY accents, Indian accent, and Hispanic. They seem to be a large organization with simulated call back centers. Do not give them any additional information. Don't verify your address, your name, account number or anything. The more they get the more than can use against you.

Received approxima is called there is no answer. This is very disruptive for the front office of a very busy business.tely 8 calls in 3 hour period on this date (2/8/19). When answered, an Oriental sounding voice kept repeating "call this number, 1-844-244-93xx. Caller ID says 1-757-857-21xx DOMINION. When 1-844-244-93xx Your attention would be greatly appreciated.
