This is a scam for sure. They text saying Mary Lawrence wanted to hire our DJ services, and wanted us to add on money to give to someone else in cash. They since have text from 860-937-1319, 732-867-3363 and 707-690-0133 also.

She just texted me this morning, and like an idiot i gave her my name, which isn't too crazy bc it's on my business pagem but still! Said her name was Mary Lawrece. WHAT DOES SHE WAAANNNTTT?!

I just got one as well, but this time the name is Mary Lawrence and the family reunion is in September. I simply replied that I have no free weekends available for the month.

I knew something was fishy when she texted and asked if I used a different payment merchant other than PayPal, then said her planner doesn't accept credit cards....like, really? With the success of Square and PayPal who doesn't accept CC payments.

Wow! This person really gets around. I got a text this morning asking if I would be available to do a session for about 30 people in Aug. I was just now able to get to the end of this message. She wanted me to plan her event as well. When I told her I wasn't an event planner.. I simply got an "ok thanks bye" message. The name given to me is kate Peterson phone number+17328673363.

I've been getting A LOT of these types of texts lately. I've had a deaf person, people asking for family reunion photos. All of them come in a 2 part text and all of them asking if I accept credit cards. Very weird. Totally fake.

Just received a very similar text/emails in regards to hearing impaired looking for an event photographer; same number as the above! So wrong! If you see this number come through; please investigate before sending any contact information. I just didn't feel right, especially knowing that she was looking for my merchant information. :(

She texted me this morning asking my prices for a family reunion. I felt like something was up when she said "locally, in the state" weird. I gave her my first and last name in my first text back without her even asking, but she asked again in the last text she sent, after i told her the total price. Haven't heard back since so I looked up the number to find this site. Yaaaaaayyyyy. Jokes on her, i don't have a bank account. And only $20 in ny Paypal. Ughhh.
