He said he was calling from Fedex and was looking for my husband or I because they have a package to deliver. I said to him that Fedex doesn’t call like this and asked him for the tracking number because I wanted to validate the call and he said that he was calling on a recorded line. I asked him again and he said just do as I tell you, don't ask questions. In the background I heard a man saying something in a normal American accent making it sound like the employee was really calling from a legit office setup. When he didn't give me the tracking number, I hung up. A few minutes later, someone else called from the same number and I asked him to give me the tracking number, and he said he would text it to my cell. I asked him what number he had on file and he hung up. Definitely sounds like a scam. Beware.

Hundred percent SCAM, yesterday got call from this number 732 542 5400 today call came from DC area number FED. Exp. office number 1 202 466 3777 Same story about the package. I told him I am home just send it, he was trying to get my cell number, which I refused. 8/27/2018 1:40 pm BEWARE of SCAM

Man with Indian accent called me from this number. He asked for me by my maiden name, which should have been my red flag #1. He said a medium sized package was out for delivery for me and that he needed to know what time I would be home to sign for it. He already had my address. He then said the package was also for my sister and he needed her cell phone number too so that he could send us both tracking information. I told him he had my number and that should be sufficient. I told him my dad would be there to sign for it. (Still didn’t realize it was a scam) He then wanted my dad’s Cell phone. I told him NO. He hen got aggravated with me and said “it’s not to call him okay. It’s just to send him tracking info. “ I said no again. Then hung up. Now they continue to call me but I am not answering.

A guy said he was calling from FEDEX, caller ID also FEDEX OFC (Unsolicited call) reported by


He had an asian accent, had our names and our address. The call woke me up about 7:18am. Said they needed our cell phone numbers to send us texts about the package. When I asked who the sender was they said US Embassy. He said they will deliver the package and we will have to sign for it. I ended up giving our numbers, regretted it, and looked up the number which brought me to this page. Obviously I won't accept or sign for the package.

Very sketchy caller. Had my name, home address and phone number. Claimed that a truck was on it's way to deliver a package and will be here by 3PM, it was well after 3. I pointed that out then he changed it to 5PM. Asked what time I'll be home as the package needs to be signed for. Very thick Asian accent.

Claimed to be from fedex and needed my cellphone to confirm package delivery from us embassy. When I refused they stated I needed to go to pick it up at my nearest fedex location. They couldn't tell me where it was. I have no package being delivered as I called fedex and they have no record of this package.

I received call from this number claiming he's from FedEX NJ office and that they have package from US Embassy for me and they are doing final verification and needs my wife's number. I did not give. The guy has an accent and has my old address, very suspicious.

Said he was trying to schedule a time for a delivery from the US Embassy. Wanted to confirm my husband’s cell and that we would be home Friday evening for the delivery. Sounded very suspicious. Wasn’t the best English speaker.

The guy said he is from fedex and was looking for my wife to deliver a package from the US federal govt and wanted her mobile number so he can reach out to her and give the tracking info and other details. I didn't divulge any into and kept the phone as we never expected any such packages from the US govt and this looked and sounded very suspicious or a scam.
