l also registered a domain recently but thru Namecheap. Have been getting lots of email spam as a result. I don't suspect the registrars but the contact info is being leaked somehow. Didn't used to happen.

Registered a domain with GoDaddy and have been bombarded with spam for the last 3 days. This one wants to sell me domain hosting. Have used other hosting services in the past and never gotten a call. Definitely will never use godaddy again.

I bought domain they were asking for money $59 for 3 months for domain hosting. They said they are calling from your domain ragistat. Which is not true this is fraud. Using GoDaddy name to sell your services
