She wanted to verify the information that she had on file already, and I stupidly verified before I could even realize what was happening. She spoke about 30 words a second with a thick southern accent and you could barely understand what she was saying. She wanted to "continue" the subscription for the "free magazine" and that it would be an e-publication.

They think they're slick and have a different person on the other line each time they call. They have been calling my office EVERY DAY for the past 2 weeks asking about magazine subscription updates. Now everytime I see the number pop up on the office caller ID, I hang up on them.

They called our business phone number and at first they were silent but afterwards, a woman answered wanting to update our business information for a magazine subscription. They already had our information so she just wanted to verify that was correct. The only personal information they asked for was an email address and the person's date of birth that was supplying the information.
