"None" on caller ID (Scam call) reported by


My Jolly Roger robot answered, as the number rated 100% BS. Said he was "Jack Kember" (unintelligible) "from the police officer's support line". (not "alliance", which is a real group out of Massachusetts) Tried to angle for an address to send an envelope out. Hung up at the 70 second mark without a further word. A real organization would have a valid caller ID, would not be calling out of the Cheyenne Wells exchange, where no such organization exists, and would not be listed online as being associated with other scam activity (all asking for donations for something or other). Probably spoofing the number.
