The person who I spoke with was or middle eastern or Indian descent. He claimed to represent the U.S. Government grant department. When I told him that I know that the U.S. Grant Department does not give out grants over the phone but conducts all of its awards in writing, he proceeded to use excessive profanity, insult me and my demeanor, threatened to keep calling, and refused to take me off of his calling list. For anyone out there that is receiving these calls, whether from this number or from one like it, please do not give them any information! They do not represent the government in any way and are just out for your information. They don't even know how the system works. Also, if you hang up and try to call them back, the number is disconnected. This tells you that it is not a legitimate source. People who do this should be found and put away. Please don't even give them the time of day.
