Hey everyone, here's my advice. Telemarketers like this are working in call centers. They get paid by setting up appointments, and then sending your info to a contractor in the area. The call center is literally selling you as a lead and the contractors pay for that lead. Their business depends on making the most number of calls possible and getting the highest number of leads in the least amount of call time. Let's break their business model! I'm serious. Get a person on the phone and waste their time. Answer the call and spend as much time as possible on the phone with them; my personal target is to waste at least ten minutes of their time. Ask a ton of questions, act vaguely interested but hesitant, and at some point they'll give up and just hang up on you most likely. I do this all the time. Hell, if you want then schedule appointments with the contractors and don't show up; the more bad leads that contractors get, the more they will resist buying those leads. I got a voice message from this number, from a company about a home HVAC program.
