I happened to be home. I asked the guy in other end if I could help him nd he spoke a word in Indian and hanged up. The guy called a few minutes later using 213-893-8198 and he hanged up again. I recognized him. I am afraid these people are up to something and they are not doing these just for fun.

The caller ID indicated an "unavailable" source of the call. This raised my suspicion as this type of call is generally negative, especially when no message is also not left by the caller(s). In this case I never respond even if they call repeatedly. Eventually, after the second or third call, I block the number. My search of this number on another online site indicated that this particular caller is a probable "scammer".
