Received a call 5 times in 15 minutes from this number It ties to an Apple Store in south coast Plaza and they verified that this is a scam - someone reporting that there is an i-cloud breach. apple confirmed there is not. The number on caller ID is 714) 424-6331 which refers you to an 844 number.

This was a robocall describing an iCloud breach, with a recommendation to call another number (844 area code) or talk to a service rep right away, or press "2" to hang up. The number that showed up on my phone was "Apple Inc" which is why I answered. I pressed "1" to talk to support staff, but it was a guy with a foreign accent in a room with lots of noisy talk going on in the background ... nothing like the first-rate service that Apple normally gives. Sounded like a "boiler room" to me. I said I was responding to a call, and he hung up. I called Apple directly and reached a very helpful service rep who said there is no issue with an iCloud breach, and I was smart not to give out any personal or ID info. Interestingly, this number ties to an Apple Store, so I think the scammers found a way to to replicate this when they call. I have since received three more calls in 20 mins from the same number, but I blocked it.

When I called the # back I was cycled through an auto answer system that hung up when I was put on hold. NO HUMANS!
