11 May 2016 10:18am Computer SCAM Robo dialer calling from 708-481-8690 Do not call them back. They are untraceable now, even tho it shows this number from Illinois. They have called me every day for a week now. The call goes through a buffer setup. Not sure what your call display shows, some shows it is a VOIP Caller (V40823191400094 )or W. Ch*. They could be calling from anywhere in the world while showing any phone number they choose. These middle eastern accented Pakistani/Indian scam artists will tell you to key in a few commands they say it has a virus/Malware and give you commands so they can hijack your computer remotely after that they will either steal your information or put the encryption malware on your computer and demand money to release your information. NEVER answer a call you don't recognize and NEVER give anyone personal information or key in commands they give you unless YOU called MicroSoft yourself. This is a SCAM to gain access to your computer. Product ID is generic to any Microsoft OS running.
