Called and said he was from the us dept of treasury and about our taxes. he wanted my name, address and date of birth.. i told him no.. i am not giving you that information, then turned phone over to my husband and he tried to tell him that he was retired from law enforcement and the guy (james caspen-WITH A ACCENT) actually said to him that my husband wasnt.. so they are targeting senior citizens for sure.. My husband was in law enforcement for over 30 years. so as far as i can see he was trying to get info on us and wanted us to give him our information.

Scam call reported by unintelligible Indian accent
left the following message on my voice mail: "Hi, this message is intended to contact you. My name is (...?) and I’m calling regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 708-377-9158 . I repeat: 708-377-9158. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you."

A pre-recorded scam call about the US Treasury and other stuff. The guy has a bit of a mid-eastern accent.

Received a call from this number just today - some Indian speaking person told me that he was from the US Treasury and if I didn't cooperate I would be facing penalties, fines and possible jail time - and I couldn't hang up on the call because it was stuck in some loop. So I called back - he answered the phone US Treasury - I told him he was full of it and not to call me anymore because I was from the US Treasury and was going to report him. Needless to say he hung up after that. Do not take calls from this number - total scam!!!
