This call was very alarming. They say it's from a government agency and that someone is filing a claim on you for tax fraud or something scary and you must call them immediately. I immediately went to the internet to verify if it was indeed a scam.

Potential Fraud/Scam Alert!! (Scam call) reported by Red
This number called and left a message that scared the crap out of me. Threatening that the US Government detected federal tax fraud and that I needed to call back immediately or face arrest. Super scary stuff and I caved and called (dumb, I know). HOWEVER, when I called back I was hung up on. I called back again and it went to a weird professional robo message BUT like when you call AT&T or Directv (like word for word). I hung up and called back a third time and someone answered "US Treasury" (there was a lot of background noise) she had a thick latin accent and I asked her to repeat herself. I asked her how I could verify who she was and that this wasn't a scam and she hung up on me. Weird and alarming. Please use caution.
