Said something about legal action against me and to call their legal department at 657-234-6863. I called to see what I heard and a man with a foreign accent answered hello IRS after about 3 rings. Anyone else have something similar?

This time they left a callback nbr 657-205-6955. Angela with under writers enrollment dept of federal student loan forgiveness dept. I think just broke the law by identifying themselves as "federal" when that are nothing but a scam. I've been calling and leaving a message, but no words, just hitting a bunch of numbers and letting them listen to a song on my radio. I will also be filing a complaint with the Texas Attorney General.

This was an automated robo call about how this is the last chance to take advantage of a student loan debt forgiveness program. They keep calling and leaving messages on my cell phone. Even say it is the final chance for me to refinance my student loan. I don't have a student loan and I wouldn't give my financial information to a random caller. Don't be scammed if you do have student loans. They do NOT have your best interest and likely will NOT provide the relief you are hoping.

These people are persistent and will call at all hours of day and evening. They are pretending to represent a government agency, but they will not provide you any specific information such as their last name, or the name of the company they represent. They will tell you that if you don't respond you will loose the opportunity to get rid of student load debt, and they sound very convincing. But, it is just a scam. This was an illegal, automated robo call about how this is the last chance to take advantage of a student loan debt forgiveness program. It said to press 1 to speak to someone, so I did, but after waiting 2 minutes, I was never connected to a live person. Yet they called last Friday and a live person left a message on my voice mail about how THAT was the final chance for me to refinance my student loan. And by the way, I don't have a student loan and I wouldn't give my financial information to a random caller. They called my cell phone, which is on the FTC and State of FL Do Not Call List.
