Unscrupulous Indians operating out of virtual NYC "office." They attempt to run the MS Windows Scam. They mimic a virus on your phone or computer, sometimes causing a browser window to freeze, and then tell you to fix it you need them, Microsoft Support [which they are not] and then they trick you into paying them a lot of money to "fix" it and/or giving them access to get in to your private data and passwords and rip you off from there.

trying to get into my computer (Scam call) reported by


Scam call. He told me that he is a computer technician and that my computers from our house signaled them some problems. He wanted me to allow them to get into my computer remotely from his location so he can fix problems in my computer. Yeah, sure :) Of course that I am not letting anyone login remotely to my computer if I don't know them.
